Rani Padmavati – Chittorgarh Fort – India’s biggest fort

Chittorgarh fort is the biggest fort of India and a UNESCO world heritage site. There are many palaces inside the fort including the most famous one like Rana Kumbha palace and Padmini ( Padmavati ) Palace. Chittorgarh fort is also famous for Victory tower which was built by Rana Kumbha between 1458 and 1468 to commemorate his victory over Mahmud Shah I Khalji, the Sultan of Malwa, in 1440.

Nearest Airport : Dabok-Udaipur ( 90km)

Nearest Railway Station : Chittorgarh Junction ( Connected to all Major metros )

Bus : There are direct buses from Jaipur/Delhi

Best time to go : Oct-Feb
